Debbie Timmons

This is my 2nd year as a Pre-K teacher and sixth overall year at Little People
Day Care Center. I was born and raised in Roxboro, North Carolina. I am married 27 years, one
son and a 6-year-old granddaughter. I have been working with children since 1999 and I love the career path that I chose. I graduated from Person High School in 1988 with a Diploma. I later
went on to Piedmont Community College to study Early Childhood Education where I earned
my Associate Degree in 2008. I worked in Roxboro as a Preschool Teacher until September
2014.

I came to Little People Day are in October 2014 as an Early Head Start Teacher. I am
currently a student at Mount Olive College aiming for my bachelor's degree in early childhood
education, I am halfway from earning my degree. My goal is to graduate next December 2021.
The love I have for teaching young children has been a passion of mine since high school. I am
honored to be teaching here at Little People Day Care Center.
