It is my pleasure to work as a Pre-K teacher at Little People Daycare Center. I absolutely love what I do and truly believe in the power of education. Formally, I’ve received my Bachelor’s in Child Development, Master’s in Educational Leadership, and certification in BK.
Over the years, I have acquired experience ranging from working in the infant room to teaching Kindergarten. Combined I have over eight years working in the field of Early Childhood Education. I have a great passion for teaching and strive diligently to engage students in learning through high-energy and hands on activities.
On a personal note; I am a wife, mother, and friend. In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, and listening to music. My spirituality and faith enable me to stay grounded and live a balanced life. Membership in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., as afforded me the privilege to help in the community. I am most fulfilled serving others; as it makes me happy to see others happy.
This same notion remains consistent in my teaching practice. In my classroom children are safe from harm, nurtured in various abilities, and encouraged to be their best! Parent involvement is welcomed and considered a gift. My primary focus is on providing enrichment opportunities for the whole child (cognitive, social and emotional) while strengthening home school connections.
